Induction Programme
The Induction Programme provides support for new teachers in the Umeå region. In combination with competence development training and a mentoring scheme, the programme is aimed at speeding up the professionalisation process for new teachers.
Professional development scheme for practising teachers
With a view to promoting a positive development in schools, the Government has decided to set up and sponsor a professional development scheme for practising teachers.
Regional Centre for In-service Training
Working closely with schools and municipalities in the county, the Regional Centre for In-service Training is striving to develop a partnership that will benefit all involved and promote the development of professional competences among teachers as well as the quality of the education provided by the schools.
